Captain's Cove at the Victorian Captain's Cove Condo-Walk to Beach

This is a spacious one bedroom, one bath condo with built in hallway bunks and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. Great pool and ocean views from the patio. Just steps away from the beach. Feel like you’re at the beach from the moment you walk in with tropical mosaic tile work in the entry to the nautical touches throughout. This condo is perfect for small families or couples.

The one bedroom has a queen sized bed, the hallway has built in bunk beds with safety railing. The living room has a queen sized sleeper sofa. Captain's Cove condo has an impeccable 5 star review history. Freshly painted white kitchen and bunks. New furniture and flooring throughout.

Each bunk has it's own TV with headphones for privacy and a separate light fixture for reading as well!

The Victorian complex (not the owners nor their management company) charges a facilities access fee of $35 for stays up to 14 days, or $70 per month. For this their staff will provide you with wristbands that identify you as registered guests on the premises, the WiFi password to the system wide WiFi system, codes to the entry gates, hot tub gates, fitness center, pool restrooms, etc. Remember, we have no control over this charge nor can we collect and/or pay it in advance of your arrival.

Starter supplies: We will provide you with starter supplies of toiletries, paper products, dish cleaning options and coffee supplies. These are not intended to necessarily last you for the duration of your stay (though for a quick weekend getaway it just might!) They are intended to allow you to come in, relax a bit, get settled, locate the stores nearest you or that you prefer, and find your favorites for what you want to eat while you are in Galveston.

Linens: Standalone beds and bunk beds are made prior to your arrival. The sleeper sofa sheets, blanket and pillows will be found in the closet in the primary bedroom. We provide one bath, one hand and one wash cloth per guest that the condo sleeps. We can help you make arrangements with our housekeeping contractors for linen swaps or interim cleanings if you would like any of these - and there is not a mark-up on these - what our housekeepers charge us is what we will charge you. We used to provide beach towels - it was a very expensive experiment as our guests liked them so much they took them home with them. Luckily - the complex is located right across the street from a nationwide big box chain (not mentioning any names but it starts with W) and they sell nice souvenir towels that you may want to buy to take home with you in case you have forgotten to bring your own.

We are very pleased to represent the best properties at the Victorian and across the island. Whether you are coming for a romantic weekend, a group trip, family reunion, wedding, or a cheer, dance, or sports team competing here on the island - if you have a large group let us know. We can get you as close to each other as you want to be - or as far away as possible even if still in the same complex (or not!)

We love to help with planning of special events, too. Whether you are looking for the best golf cart rental, a fishing charter, the greatest bakery with custom cakes, a chef to come to you - planning an engagement, getting married, celebrating a special birthday or anniversary - if we can help, let us know. We live on the island, we love our island.

After you book we will ask you to complete our renters agreement. Almost all of the information is already provided through a platform you may have booked through, but they do not share that information with us and we need it in order to send your check in instructions and make sure that you and only you have access to that check in information. This is for your privacy and protection and we thank you for your cooperation. It will ask your address, phone numbers, names of guests, email address, very simple non-invasive information.

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges (less $100.00 taxable cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges (less $100.00 taxable cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 14 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
